MEMORY LANE PROGRAM *April 14 (Thursday), 7 p.m.  Topic — Churches. Everything that JTHS knows about all the different churches that have been in the township with a photo, name of the church, location, and information pertaining to each one.

In 2015, when Jackson Township celebrated the 200th anniversary of its founding, the Jackson Township Historical Society compiled a “Pictorial History of Jackson Township.” That book has been reprinted, and copies on now available for purchase. Buy one for yourself or give it as a gift. The cost is $18 per book. NOTE: Due to the prohibitive cost of hard cover copies, the reprints are a soft cover. Memories of the Jackson Tornado
A tornado devastated parts of Jackson Township 20 years ago. But this open house will focus on the memories of how residents came together to help each other in the aftermath of the tornado. These memories will be on display at an open house on Sunday, May 1, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Jackson Center School.
