Program- Who was General Beatty? by Todd Morris
General Beatty was a prominent farmer in Jackson and served in the Civil War.

Todd has done much research on him and even dismantled Beatty house, piece by piece.  
Membership meeting to follow.

April 2, 1-4 p.m.

 Open House- Life in the Township 1818-1920
      Displays consist of  maps, pictures, families, schools and so much more.
      Play old time games, listen to vintage music and children can try on vintage clothes.
      Members will be available to answer questions.

 April 6, 6:00 p.m.

Memory Lane- Farms and Barns in Jackson part 2. by Doris Wertz
      This is a continuation of the Farms and Barns program part 1. This is a three part
      series. You did not have to attend part one to follow part 2. Come ask questions and
      share your memories.

April 16, 1-2:30 p.m.

McGuffey Kids Club program: “Life in the 1800’s”
      Open to students in grades 1-6.  

Register by April 10

Children will learn about life in Jackson. Play games, hear
      stories, have a snack and make a craft from that time period.

      Displays consist of  maps, pictures, families, schools and so much more.
      Members will be available to answer questions

Antique Appraisal Fair -by Jason Adams
      Jason has 30 years of experience, two degrees in Art, and is an advisor through Kiko
      Auctions. He will give you the “sell for” price. He also has a unique collection of antiques he
      will bring for display. Detailed information is on their website.

May 16, 7:00 p.m.

Program- Stark County’s Stagecoach Era by Richard Haldi
      Life in Stark County when the horse was king.  See pictures of the stagecoach stop in Jackson.

May 21, 1:00 p.m.

 Program- Quilts-by Judi Malinowski
      Stories and information on quilters from Jackson Township. Many quilts will be displayed
      during the month of May.

June 4, 1-4 p.m.

Dates TBA- Yard Sale
      Rent a space to sell your items, bring items for the JTHS to sell and keep the profit as a
      donation or to sell on consignment.  Watch Facebook and the website for information.

July 2, 1-4 p.m.

      The township has grown and , schools were added. See what Jackson looked like!
